South Africa Volunteering with Lions is something that many would want to take part in, particularly those who have a passion for the outdoors and wildlife.

If you are wanting to volunteer and going overseas is also appealing then why not consider South Africa Volunteering with Lions. The lion is the biggest of all of Africa’s big cats and many are interested in the rare white lion. When it comes to South Africa Volunteering with Lions why not have a look at Volunteer SA, the offer a project at the Lion park which is home to more than 85 Lions including Rare White Lions, and many other carnivores such as Cheetah, Wild dog, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope indigenous to Africa. You don’t have to have a year off to be able to volunteer, they offer a 2, 3 or 4 week experience according to your choice which means that even if you have a few weeks off you can still take part in this rewarding experience. It could be summer holidays from college or maybe even leave from work, weather travelling alone or with a group of friends be sure to organise and plan for your trip in advance. If you have not travelled overseas before and you do not live in South Africa then it might be a good idea to ask someone who has travelled overseas before to assist you in all that needs to be done to book tickets and visas if applicable.

A travel agent or a parent could also assist you in this. For more information on the project why not have a look at Volunteer SA’s website, browse through their gallery and read a article of past volunteers.
